The University of Oklahoma has implemented a new program through the Financial Education and Counseling Center (the FEd) called the Student Worker Assistance Team. This program will allow departments to hire additional work-study students for special events or times of high work flow at no cost to them. It was set-up to provide an opportunity for more Federal Work-Study student employment at OU, as well as to provide students an opportunity to make connections with campus departments and staff.
Reminders:
- Timesheets (link below) should be submitted via fax every Friday, or at the end of the job, whichever comes first.
- There is no limit to the number of requests you can make; however, each request cannot last longer than three weeks. If you need a student employee for the length of the semester, please list a work-study position through Human Resources.
- All jobs must be located within walking distance of the Norman campus.
This year we have implemented an online scheduler, so that departments will be able to go in and reserve the students as needed. The link to the online scheduler can be found to the left.
